My Story
LOTW stands for "Light Of The World."
This isn't just another quote or verse that stood out to me when reading my bible; it represents so much more.
Every day, when my parents dropped me off for school, they asked me the same question: "Who are you?" And I responded, "Light of the world."
Some days, I would respond with a big smile on my face, ready to attack the day ahead of me. But some days, I would whisper it under my breath as I slammed the door shut behind me.
I can honestly say that a lot of days, I would say it just to say it, but sometimes, it would stick with me throughout the day, and that's when I saw the fruit come to life.
The truth is that most days, we can be the LIGHT to the people around us, really speaking truth and joy into others' lives. But there will be days when we need someone to be the LIGHT in our lives.
So I encourage every single one of you to go and be the LIGHT to the people around you. You have the power to transform lives and watch how much the Lord will work in and through you.
Matthew 5:14 says, 'You are the LIGHT OF THE WORLD, a city on a hill that cannot be hidden.' Let these words encourage and uplift you as you go through your life.
